What would the proper path be? I copy the settings of JCO, then change character, ean, fce.ean and cam.ean to "ZMF" (the name of the folder containing the ZMF files), I leave fce blank and I write ..JCO/JCO in both bac and bcm, leaving the rest of the fields as they are. Anything that I´m missing?
Edit the bcm with a hexadecimal editor to change the "JCO" to "ZMF".
First: I am sincerely thankful for the creation of this tool, this looks very useful, so thank you eternity.
Unfortunately, I´m having a problem installing the fused zamasu mod from Xan. In fact, I´ve had the same problem with a couple other mods (though those were from xv1 that I "copy-pasted" but still, it´s the same problem). The problem is the following:
I correctly install everything (sdk, java, xv2 patcher...etc). I didn´t change any settings in xv2 patcher, btw, just extracted it on xv2 directory, then made a new folder named "data" on the xv2 directory. Both of your tools (creator and installer) work fine, I follow your tutorial closely and install fused zamasu in a new slot. However, while the slot is there in-game, the model is invisible. All the models load fine except the zamasu one. Then, when the game loads the invisible model, all other models become invisible, and I have to quit the character selection screen, because if I select anybody to fight, the game gets stuck in the vs screen (nothing shows up in the two "portraits" that are supposed to show the models).
Could you or any other experienced modder lend me a hand? thanks, and congratz on this achievement.
That's probably a problem of the cms. The cms strings must point to the proper location.
I have the same problem I'm pretty sure I did the cms part correctly but anyways here's a screenshot ._. And running it as Admin didn't help btw
Hi im relatively new to all this stuff & i succed to clone Bardock to use it as a base, but now how can i edit the stat ? Because the character seas broken ^^ One another question what does the bac and bcm are for on the CMS Tab ? Btw what does cms, cus mean ?
The program works. But it doesnt' do magic: your model data must point to the proper location. Your bcs file must point to proper locations, your files renamed properly to match your character name, and the cms entry must be properly done.
You just can't expect to drop a replacer mod to it and magically work.
so if i use this program for new chara, can i still merge slot ? or it will always create a new one ( replace the merged slot i edit?) _________________ and why this program said name (example: i add Xan Zamasu as ZAM) "the file (ZAM) is already in game" i already move the previous modded file _____________________ last known bug: i jst can add 2 chara. everytime i install 1 more, even it is say install in new slot, but it always replaces the chara no.2 .
I managed to solve my problem; not only did I need to replace the original char folder with the mod folder (not just use the mod folder), but I also had to rename all entries in the bcs file with a hex editor: in the case of fused zamasu, I opened the bcs file with the hex editor, and replaced all JCO with ZMF, which was my character´s name/id/whatever. Hope this helps!
