I do apologize if this has been asked but I have done lots of searching and I can't seem to find the info.
What I am trying to do is swap Future Trunks (Z) to have Future Trunks's (Super) Blue Hair. I've seen the mod on XenoverseMods but there is one thing it does that doesn't make sense. The mod changes Trunks (GT) to also have blue hair, which doesn't really make sense considering young Trunks has lavender hair.
I see that Trunks (GT) uses the same model as Trunks Future (TRX) so in order to change over to have blue hair on all future trunks and all current timeline trunks to have lavender hair would require changing Trunks (GT) to have a different model.
What I've done is extract all the original TRX files and rename them TRG to create an XML Trunks (GT). Is there a way to edit the actual game to replace all forms of Trunks (GT) with my new TRG mod?
Well I finally figured out how to do this, at least what I was looking for.
For anyone who is wondering what to do, copy an existing character and give them a new 3 letter name (i.e. I took TRX and made him TGT). I then used the quest creator to edit the GT Quests that contain Trunks and changed the ID from TRX to TGT, saved the quests and everything worked fine.
another way is to edit TRX.bcs using genser. Add future Trunk (Super) hair in the TRX model folder using a new number (I don't exactly now how many hairs are already in the folder, let's say TRX_099_hair), edit the hair partset of the characters you want to mod, settin hair model = 99 (part 5 of any partset if I'm right). You just have to find what is the partset id for Trunx GT and leave it as it is. Hope this help
Edit: you should do this also for the face to avoid blue hairs and purple eyebrows!
