I deleted the xv2 patcher and instaled again.

Data folder empty and Voolaa, the Mods Instalator accepted.

I don't know how, but is one step forward.

However nothing appears in the game, I can buy the costumes, look their types, look their names and description, but they are "invisible", my Cac seems "naked" wearing nothing.

What can be wrong this time?

Activate the log in xv2patcher (log_all_files = true), and see if some file related with the race of your cac failed loading. This is the same thing that with new characters: if the game cannot load something, it will make it invisible.
Can you give me a keyword to search?
I can't understand the log, sorry.

Keyword "neither". That will send you to files that don't exist anywhere. (note: it is normal that some files don't exist, but you should just look at the ones that have the race of your character in file names).

so question do we have to mess with the bcs section other than enabling the race for the outfit? Also do the directories need to be in the game's data directory ahead or can they be files in a folder outside the games data directory?

    I found nothing, sorry...
However after looking some bcs codes, I changed some values and worked.
The clothes are working, with just a some bugs, now my focus is make the acessories appears.
I 'll try the rest by myself.

You are a cool guy, don't let the other people bore you.
    Thanks for the help.

For the life of me I can't get it to work. The x2m is generating without issue but none of the clothes are showing up in the item shop.

okay nevermind with my question I figured it out but for those who are still having trouble when you do the bcs part of the data make sure that in the MODEL VALUE and MODEL VALUE 2 to have the number of the files in there otherwise it will be invisible.

Does it matter what bcs is used if copying from the game?

that I don't know. Honestly only have gotten the top for outfits to work...not had much success with full outfits...which sucks cause I wanna help ZReincarnation by making his batch of outfits for characters into x2m files but I've only gotten the Momoiro MKII armor which is a top only...and it's frustrating cause I thought I'd figured it all out and the vegito whis training style outfit said nope and only shows the chest piece.

You need to copy all the IDB data from a costume that's already buyable in the game, any other method will risk causing errors. Do this for all of your partsets

okay so the partset stuff still has me confused as my x2m of Note's clothes at least for the gloves, lower body, and shoes is acting like it's an item from my x2m of Fasha's armor without the undershirt. what am I doing wrong?

So after playing around with this tool, I've pretty much found what I'm looking for, EXCEPT how to recolor things.

I will give an example of what I did and I would very much appreciate if someone could make sure I'm not missing something here. First, is it even possible to make things recolorable that weren't recolorable before with this tool alone? I believe this is the most important question to ask before I get into anything else.

If so, I must be missing some type of step here to do it. I'll give a run down of what I specifically did and what I'm looking for.

I used the code of Battle Suit (Turles) for the partset from the copy button to make those long strings of coding for 4 separate identical entries, using them as the top, bottom, gloves, and shoes section on the idB part.

I used these for the HUM and SYM race, which I race locked on the idB tab. I put in a description, the price for buying and selling, and the placement number for the clothing shop. All of these things worked, I see Turles' outfit which I renamed and gave a description for, but it is not recolorable. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a step?

By the way, I have two separate downloads called "XV2 – EVERYTHING COLORABLE FOR MALE HUMAN/SAIYAN" and "XV2 – EVERYTHING COLORABLE FOR FEMALE HUMANS/SAYANS" but these files are in .emm. I tried using these first for the partset section, but I'm assuming it's because the instructions said .xml files that this is the reason this method didn't work. (I don't know how to convert .emm to .xml and nothing I look up is making it comprehensible to learn how) Am I supposed to do something else here? I'd really like to learn and I don't mean to have others do it for me if I can learn how to do it. It's just hard to do so without the right information.

Use genser to convert emm to xml, it can be found in eternity's tool thread.

I found the tool, so thank you very much for that, but the application doesn't seem to work. It shows up for like half of a second before it closes again. Any particular reason it does this?

Thank you so much, I ended up doing this but now I'm trying to figure out how do I put this .emm.xml file into the BCS PartSet section without it disappearing from the section.

What ends up happening is that I will drag the file into the section that looks like this

    "<PartSet>(Dragged file here)
    </PartSet>"

But after I save it and then open the game, it acts as if the file has disappeared and that I had dragged nothing there, because the outfit pieces instead declothes my character. When I reopen the outfit x2m file I made, it says that I entered nothing there and looks like this.

    "<PartSet>

    <!--This entry is empty.-->

    </PartSet>"

I feel I'm missing something simple here to make it work. Or maybe it's not something simple, thanks so much for your help so far, I would have never figured out on my own that the application was simply to be used to drag files on. I am simply trying to make the Battle Suit (Turles) actually recolorable, and somebody seems to have already made the .emm file that I am assuming makes it recolorable. But for whatever reason for the life of me, I can't get this file to just 'work' lol. Any help would be much appreciated.

You're not supposed to drag the file, you're supposed to convert the bcs using genser, finding its partset (find costume id through google), renaming all the model names to 10000 that aren't directly referencing some other file and then pasting the full partset entry from your xml into that bcs window, just making sure to highlight everything in the window before using ctrl a and then ctrl v to paste.

Make sure you rename your files to HUM_10000_bust/rist/pants/boots.emd/dyt.emb/emb/emm respectively. If you only have the emm file, just unpack your cpk to get turles' battlesuit from the HUM or HUF folder and then rename accordingly.
